Vicarity is being built by a small team with deep respect for the people doing care work — and the people managing the homes where that work happens.
Why Vicarity?
UK adult social care is one of the hardest jobs there is, done by some of the most underappreciated people in the country, and coordinated by software that feels like it was built for the inspectors rather than the workers.
The rota is on a printed spreadsheet in the office. The agency worker shows up without a briefing. The CQC evidence is reconstructed the night before an inspection. The care worker's payslip is wrong, or late, or both.
Vicarity tries to fix all of that, at once, without pretending care is a gig-economy problem.
What we're honest about
- We're early. No live customers claimed yet.
- We don't hold certifications we haven't earned. See our compliance roadmap.
- Pricing isn't set. Pilots are free. We'll publish real pricing before anyone's charged.
- We're not going to "disrupt" care. We're going to make boring things less terrible.
