Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 April 2026
These terms govern your use of the Vicarity platform (the "Service"), operated by Vicarity Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. Who can use Vicarity
Care workers must be 18 or over with the legal right to work in the United Kingdom. Care home managers must be authorised representatives of the care home they register. Family members may only access the platform via an invitation from the care home hosting their loved one.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access at hello@mykeralam.uk.
3. Care workers
You're responsible for the accuracy of the credentials and qualifications you upload to the platform. Misrepresentation of qualifications will result in account suspension. Your marketplace rating is based on genuine feedback from care homes you've worked with.
4. Care homes
Care homes are responsible for the accuracy of shift information posted to the marketplace, for honouring the rates advertised, and for promptly approving timesheets for work performed.
5. Payments
Payments between care homes and care workers are processed via Stripe Connect. Pay rates are agreed at the time of booking. We do not hold client funds on your behalf outside the Stripe payment flow.
6. Pilot stage
The Service is currently in a pilot phase. Features may change, and we may make the Service unavailable for maintenance. We'll communicate planned outages where we can.
7. Acceptable use
You must not: misuse the Service to harm anyone; attempt to circumvent platform fees; scrape, reverse-engineer, or overwhelm the Service; post illegal, harassing, or discriminatory content; or use the Service to discriminate against care workers in any protected category.
8. Data and privacy
We take care of your data seriously. See our privacy policy for details on what we collect and why.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the greater of £100 or the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes
We'll notify you of material changes to these terms by email. Continued use of the Service after the change means you accept the updated terms.
